Dr. Yoram Rudy’s first cardiac center, the Cardiac Bioelectricity Research and Training Center (CBRTC), Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, held annual research retreats, and the idea and form of the event carried over to Washington University in St. Louis when Dr. Rudy relocated here in 2004 to become the Director of the Cardiac Bioelectricity and Arrhythmia Center (CBAC).
Past retreats & symposia:
• May 12, 2006
• January 10, 2010
• April 30, 2014
• August 28, 2015
• May 23-24, 2018 (Yoram Rudy Lab Alumni Reunion)
The CBAC retreats focused on, important and novel research by the CBAC faculty members, the center’s interdisciplinary philosophy, and showed how it really does build a bridge in cardiology and cardiovascular research between the School of Engineering & Applied Science and the School of Medicine.
